Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a rare psidium found growing at a height of 2 meters. The fruits are sweet and aromatic like other guava. The fruits ripen to a red color. I asked the collector if it was Cattleyanum but they insisted it was different. Who knows, maybe its an amazing new guava. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
