Pradosia Granulosa
Seeds were imported from Brazil and are starting to germinate. This specie is found in Maranhao and Para, Brazil, in non-flooded lowland forests, up to 250 meters in altitude. This tree grows to 10 meters in height. This is not to get confused with Pradosia Lactescens - Marmixa, they have grains on the skin (skin isn't smooth), hence the name "granulosa". They're NOT cauliflorous (Pradosia lactescens IS cauliflorous), leaves are distinct as well. The fruit of this tree is orange, and is said to be very sweet, and taste a little like peaches. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
