Myrcia sp Red/Purple - Dwarf Specie
Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a Specie of Myrcia we first imported over 2 years ago. We grew out many of the plants, and it has been a favorite of our customers. We finally were able to source them again, and provide them at a reasonable price. Me and several other growers have had our plants flower at just 1-2 years of age. No one to my knowledge has fruited it yet. This is a super dwarf species, found in the State of Goiás in Brazil. The mature plant found was only 1 foot tall. This is a perfect one to grow for those who grow in containers. The plant fruits small red/purple berries in abundance. The fruits are small, and sweet. Great to eat out of hand. The fruits have very small seeds. This is a perfect plant for anyone, in any climate as long as you have window inside you can use for the winter time. Seeds are viable and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
