Seeds were imported from Brazil. Garcinia glaziovii was described in the XIX Century as a botanical variety by Glaziou A. in 1883 (Garcinia gardneriana var. glaziovii), but recent research showed that it is a unique species. It's fruits are very elongated (skinny) with very thin yellow skin and white flesh (pulp) which is delicious mix of sweet-acid. It's a very rare species, endemic of a particular hill (700 meter high) forested area in Southeastern Brazil. It's a must have for any Garcinia collector. Some of these are already germinating, will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
