This is a very unique Eugenia that produces huge yellow fruits with a very good amount of flesh. The seeds are around the size of a golf ball, and the fruits the size of a baseball. The flesh for this Eugenia is said to have a good flavor, and be sweet. Good enough to eat out of hand according to the collector. The skin of this fruit is a little astringent, but since the fruit is so large and has so much flesh it is easily avoidable if you so choose. Seeds are viable and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
