Its fruits are yellow when ripe, have 3 to 4 seeds, and have a bit of latex. The fruit of Chrysophyllum aff venezuelanense has a very good flavor like pouteria campechiana but are much sweeter. The fruit is usually collected to be eaten raw, but you can also use it to make juices, ice creams and desserts. This species fruits like a jabotciaba, forming its flowers and fruits on the trunk and its branches. 30% of the seeds are germinating, and those will be shipped out first come first serve.
