It is a native species of Brazil, occurring primarily in the states of Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and São Paulo. The taste is reported to be sweet, and tart. Enjoyed out of hand normally. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite. Some seeds are germinating and those will be shipped first.
