Myrcia Reticulata - GERMINATED
Seeds were imported from Brazil. Myrcia reticulata, formerly named Gomidesia reticulata, is an incredible species with gorgeous bullate, long leaves that are mimetic to those of Plinia phitrantha and P. aureana. For this reason, the name "Gomidesia reticulata" has been used in the past for naming white jaboticaba in Brazil. However, Gomidesia reticulata is not a true jaboticaba because its fruits grow in panicles (bunches), not directly attached to the trunk like true jaboticabas. The fruit of Myrcia reticulata presents a thin, dark purple skin and a juicy, sweet yellowish pulp. Seeds are germinating and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
