Seeds were imported from Colombia. This Mouriri was found in the forests of Colombia in the Caribbean region. This tree was found growing at 6 meters in height, with beautiful foliage. The fruits are very large for this species, up to 4 cm in diameter, yellow when fully ripe. The main characteristic of this fruit is that they have a large crown, as shown in the photos. The fruit has 4 and 5 seeds, with quite a lot of very sweet pulp. These fruits are always enjoyed fresh out of hand. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
