Manilkara sp Maçaranduba do Sertão
Seeds were imported from Brazil. This species registered in the Agreste of Pernambuco. The tree was found growing at 10m tall. This is a very cool and unique Manilkara species. You can see in the photos that the seeds are different from any other Manilkara species we have imported. They say the fruit has an Intense sweet flavor, which may be due to the fact that the tree found was exposed to full sunlight for most of the year. As stated before this species has seeds that are different in shape and color from other Maçarandubas. Seeds are viable and shipped in humid vermiculite.
