Inga Colombia sp Guama - GERMINTAED
Seeds were imported from Colombia. Inga Colombia sp Guama is a unique inga species native to Colombia, possibly an undiscovered species. Found at an altitude of 2500 meters above sea level, it thrives in a cold climate. The fruit is 12 to 15 cm long, with dense, white, and exceptionally sweet pulp. The collector states it is one of the sweetest ingas they have ever tasted. I have passed these photos around to others in the community, and they think it is Inga Feuillei or closely related to it. However, there is no recording of Inga Feuillei in the country of Colombia. Seeds are germinated and shipped in humid vermiculite.
