This newly discovered dwarf species from Minas Gerais has leaves that slightly resemble those of Eugenia florida, and its seeds are identical to those of Eugenia sulcata. The fruit from this species is exceptionally tasty, with a flavor strikingly similar to Jabuticaba. It's the first Eugenia known to match the taste of a Jabuticaba so closely. Seeds are shipped in humid vermiculite.
