Seeds were imported directly from Brazil. This is a species found recently in the forests of Ilhéus Bahia Brazil. The tree was found growing at a height of 16 meters. Species in this region get very larger, but most have been grown in other regions in containers and fruit without issue. The fruits are green when first forming, an then turn to a purple/black color with a thin, astringent, smooth, shiny skin. The flesh of the fruit is very sweet and there is a decent amount of it in comparison to the size of the fruit. The flesh is white/cream/red in color and juicy. The seeds are very viable and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
