Eugenia cf. Tenuipedunculata
Seeds were imported from Brazil. This species is similar to Eugenia tenuipedunculata, but differs in several aspects. It produces smaller fruits, has a smaller inflorescence, and a different fruiting season. The tree grows to a height of 2 to 5 meters, and only two trees have been found of this species along the coast of Paraná. It could be a variety or possibly an unidentified, very rare species. The fruits are very sweet, and have the flavor of cherries. This species was found and sourced by Fabio. Seeds are GERMINATED and shipped in humid vermiculite.
