$50.00
sold out

Seeds were imported from Ecuador. Duguetia sp Delgada is a slow-growing tree or shrub, typically reaching heights between 2 and 12 meters, though it can occasionally grow up to 20 meters. It is likely related to or similar to Duguetia surinamensis, which produces spherical fruits with sweet, aromatic white pulp, enjoyed fresh or in a variety of culinary dishes. The trunk can grow up to 10 cm in diameter, and the fruits can weigh as much as 300 grams. This is a newly discovered, undescribed species from the Yasuni region. Seeds are very limited and shipped in humid vermiculite.
