It produces cream or yellowish flowers, grouped in axillary fascicles. The fruits are globose berries, 1.8-3 cm long, green in color, turning red or black when ripe. The fruit can be eaten with the skin and enjoyed naturally. The skin is dark purple and the flesh is purple-red. It is juicy, sweet and succulent. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
