This is a rare dwarf Plinia growing only 2 meters tall and 5-6 meters in diameter. This species has not been scientifically identified yet. It is native to the east central region of Minas Gerais, in the transition zone between the Atlantic Forest and the Savannas at an altitude of over 800 meters. The fruits are small and black, with a very sweet flavor. It is highly regarded for its taste, similar to sabara. This tree is said to also do well in full sun. This plant will need to be up-potted upon arrival.
