Willughbeia Angustifolia - GERMINATED
Seeds were imported from Indonesia. Willughbeia angustifolia is a very vigorous climbing shrub that can produce woody stems up to 60 meters long. The stems can climb to the tops of the trees in forest. The woody shoots attach themselves to other plants for support by means of hooked, leafless branchlets. The fruit is harvested from the wild for local use. The bright orange, soft and juicy pulp has an excellent flavor, supposedly similar to orange sherbet. The baseball-sized fruit looks a bit like an orange-yellow passion fruit. Seeds are shipped in humid vermiculite.
