Protium Heptaphyllum - Amescla

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a species with very tasty fruits, the collectors there in Brazil claim you cannot just eat a few of these, as they are so good you will want a bowl full. They taste very sweet with a good mix of acidity. This species has been known to adapt to various microclimates. The tree was found growing at just 3m in height as a tree arid areas. In closed areas, it can be found growing up to 15m. It should be able to be kept at a manageable height. It is a leafy tree and can be used for urban afforestation and gated communities as it is very ornamental. Seeds are fresh and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
