Plinia sp Giant Piray - GERMINATED

Seeds were sourced from Marcos in Argentina. Seeds are from a rare, large, fruiting Jaboticaba, found in the Misiones region of Argentina. The fruits are one of the largest Jaboticaba varieties, with deliciously flavored fruits that can reach up to 4 cm across. Trees can bear up to three times a year and likely show some frost tolerance. Medium to large sized tree (for a Jaboticaba) to 26 ft / 8 m. Seeds are shipped in vermiculite.
