Myrcia Sp Maranhão

Seeds were imported from Brazil and we germinated. This is an ultra rare new species found in Maranhão Brazil. It has nice foliage similar to than of a Plinia species. The fruits are small, and elongated, forming green, then turning red, and finally purple when fully ripe. The fruits are small, but amazing to eat out of hand if picked before the animals can get them. This species will fruit and get to a decent size in a container. This is a great species to grow if you have limited space. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
