Eugenia Striata

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a species found in Uruçuca Bahia Brazil. The fruit resembles that of an avocado in shape, texture, and color. It is however, a Eugenia species. Only a handful of seeds were found, collected, and sold to us. We hope to source more in the future, but as of now this is uncertain. The flesh is a little sweet, with not much flavor. This is one of those species that is not going to blow your taste buds away, but it is edible, and more importantly very unique in terms of appearence. If you are a Eugenia collector, you will want this one. The flesh is juicy and soft. We hope to get more photos in the future of its leafs, and flesh. Seeds are shipped in humid vermiculite.
