Eugenia cf. Ligustrina - fuzzy fruit

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a rare species found in an Atlantic forest area that is threatened with extinction due to deforestation. The forest is close to the state of Pernambuco. This specie was found growing to just 2 to 3m tall, as an understory. The fruits are very sweet, with not much astringency. The fruits have a black fuzzy skin. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
