Seeds were imported from Colombia. This sapotaceae was found in the tropical dry forest in Colombia. It is an average sized tree 6-8 meters high. It has very beautiful foliage which makes it ideal for ornamental purposes. The fruits are red wine in color when they are ripe, the pulp is translucent green, and their flavor is very pleasant and can be eaten with the peel out of hand. Will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
