Casearia Megacarpa - Chupamico

Seeds were imported from Colombia. This rare fruit grows in the departments of Antioquia, Choco and Valle del Cauca in Colombia. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. The fruit is large like a yellow orange when ripe. The edible part of the fruit is the translucent gelatinous pulp that surrounds the seeds. It has a mild sweet flavor with a slight floral taste. This is a very rare and hard to get species. Seeds are viable, and will be shipped with vermiculite.
