Artocarpus Glaucus

Seeds were imported from Indonesia. Artocarpus glaucus is a large, evergreen tree that can grow up to 40 meters tall. The straight, cylindrical bole is up to 80cm in diameter, sometimes with buttresses. The edible fruits are gathered from the wild for local use. The fruits can be eaten out of hand, and are a little acidic. They are also used for making a jelly, the fruit is about the size of a plum. The fruit is about 3cm in diameter. Seeds are shipped in humid vermiculite.
