Seeds were imported from Columbia. Clausa is a little known tropical fruit of the species Plinia. It is a tree or bush typical of wet forests of our Amazonia, considered endemic species of Peru that can reach from 5 to more than 10 m high and from 15 to more than 30 cm in diameter. The edible fruits are gathered from the wild, as well as being grown in home gardens for there edible fruits. The Yellow - orange skin fruits has a very pleasant aroma and taste, it is consumed directly as fresh fruit.
