Seeds were imported from Brazil. Sete capotes is a deciduous tree with an open crown; it can grow 3 - 8 meters tall. The crooked and grooved bole can be 20 - 30cm in diameter, with a corky bark that peels naturally from the trunk. The edible fruits are sometimes gathered from the wild for local use. The tree is occasionally cultivated in its native range for its edible fruit. The fruits are juicy, have a succulent pulp with an acidic-sweet flavor. It is a tasty fruit, rich in vitamins, and is used for making, jams, jellies and compotes. The subglobose, yellow fruits are about 35mm in diameter.

If you get multiple plants, I would recommend separating them and potting them up as soon as you receive them. We are putting multiple plants in the pots to save you on shipping costs.
